Sign-Interpreted CPR-AED Training for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community

NVRC, in partnership with the Fairfax County Health Department, is offering a Sign-Interpreted CPR/AED Training session for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community on May 3, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
What to Expect:
- Hands-on CPR Training: 20 students will perform CPR on mannequins and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the session.
- AED Training: Learn how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
- Observers Welcome: 20 additional participants can observe the training but will not perform hands-on CPR. Observers will benefit from the training but will not receive a certificate.
Important Notes:
- Priority Registration: Deaf and hard of hearing participants who require an interpreter will receive priority.
- Limited Spots: The class is limited to 20 hands-on students, and space for observers is also limited.
