NVRC 2025 Annual Meeting Highlights
All of our happenings provide an opportunity for our community to come together and share with each other resources that we've found helpful. When a community gathers, an amazing thing happens: its members build each other up and help the whole network to get stronger. Join us, be strengthened, and strengthen others!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for NVRC's 2025 Annual Membership and Board Meeting! With more than 50 people in the room, this year's gathering was one of our strongest yet - filled with connection, community, and meaningful reflection.
The meeting was led by our Board President, Brad Staton, who guided us through the agenda with clarity and warmth. Members enjoyed breakfast and updates on NVRC's progress, followed by Executive Director Darren Marquardt's remarks reflecting on the defining moments of the year and the growth across our programs, partnerships, and regional presence.
A highlight of the morning was the heartfelt testimonial from Linda Delk and Steve Klein, whose stories captured the spirit of NVRC's mission and the impact our services have on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Steve Klein and Linda Delk lead the hearing awareness group at Woodleigh Chase Retirement Community.
We also held our annual Board elections, renewing several dedicated Board Members whose leadership continues to strengthen NVRC. Our Board is composed primarily of Deaf and Hard of Hearing members, bringing vital lived enterprise to our mission. Current Board members include: Brad Staton, Jonathan Kiell, Charles Sterling, Melanie Williams, Eddie Drawdy, David Jara, Jill Moebus, Erik Nordlof, Jeremy Smith, Beth Klein, Ben Belisle, Walter Gawlak, and Nathaniel Muncie.
A free raffle, an accessible setup, and a warm community atmosphere made the morning especially memorable.
A special thank-you goes to all the volunteers and staff who handled setup, registration, hospitality, and teardown.
Your hard work ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish - we truly could not do it without you.
If you haven't renewed your membership yet, there's still time!
Membership is only $25 for all of 2026 if you join now.
Beginning February 1st, the membership rate will increase to $40.
Thank you to our staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, and members for helping make this year's meeting such a success. We look forward to another year of growth, service and collaboration!
