Pam Gannon

Secretary, board member since 2015

Pam Gannon joined the NVRC Board in 2015 after retiring from a long career in Social Work, Disability Housing and Human Services. She worked for Fairfax and Arlington Counties and supported accessibility and inclusion for people with various disabilities (and abilities). In her early career Pam completed a Masters Degree in Counseling from Gallaudet University and began learning American Sign Language. She worked at the Deaf Reach group homes in Washington D.C. She is a photographer who covers many NVRC events. Married to Mike Finkle, a former Fairfax County employee who has introduced cats into their household. Pam is hearing who has aged into hearing loss and now using bi-lateral hearing aids. She supports the NVRC mission and has made many friends through networking in the deaf and hard of hearing community. She is inspired by the excellent and important work of the very skilled NVRC Staff team.
