Join the NVRC Team — We’re Hiring!
NVRC is looking for our next Outreach & Community Education Manager!
This position plays an important role in connecting people throughout Northern Virginia with the information, resources, technology and support they need. The Outreach & Community Education Manager works directly with community members, local governments, senior communities and partner organizations through outreach, presentations, hearing screenings, technology demonstrations, community events and more.
We are especially interested in candidates who understand the experiences of hard of hearing and late-deafened adults, and lived experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of ASL and Deaf culture — or a willingness to learn — is also important.
The position may be structured as full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (25 hours/week), depending on the successful candidate.
Know someone who would be a great fit? Please share this opportunity! Help us spread the word throughout the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, late-deafened and disability communities and beyond.
Application deadline: December 1, 2026
To apply, please submit a resume and brief cover letter to employment@nvrc.org
