Waterproof Hearing Aid Wins Consumer Electronics Show Award

A waterproof hearing aid by Siemens received an Innovation 2013 Design and Engineering Award in the category for Accessible and Universal Design Technology at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Siemens cites 14-year-old Lydia King as an inspiration for the development of this hearing aid. Lydia’s favorite activities include surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding.
