Dr. Bally, who recently retired as a full professor from Gallaudet University, is a frequent contributor to
Hearing Loss Magazine. He has spent more than 35 years working with people with hearing loss teaching speechreading skills and communication strategies to adults. Dr. Bally co-authored the book, Speechreading: A Way to Improve Understanding, which is the nation’s all-time best-selling book on the topic of speechreading. He serves as the Aural Rehabilitation Professional Advisor for HLAA.
