Green Festival – Washington, D.C. 2015 – June 5-7th

This marks the 11th Green Festival at the D.C. Convention Center. Washington, D.C. earns top rankings for public involvement in environmental policies, and features some of the most advanced green building laws in the country. In its first year, the Sustainable D.C. Program planted 9,280 trees, organized 62 new community garden plots in 5 wards, and established 11 school composting pilot programs.
