One More Chance: YLF Open Through April 15
With all the snow and cold this year, it’s hard to think about summer-but 25 Virginia students will be attending the 2014 Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) from July 28-August 1. Who will they be? Rising high school juniors and seniors with disabilities-and they attend either home school, public school, or private school. Students with autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, brain injury, hearing loss, blindness, mental disabilities, or physical disabilities spend 5 days preparing for their futures. The program is free; students must complete an application and submit two letters of reference by the deadline.
Don’t delay-the Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a life-changing experience for students and their families. To learn more, watch http://bit.ly/14ylfVA3 or http://bit.ly/va-14ylf and tell a student to apply today!
Note: Although the online applications indicate March 31 as the deadline, it has been extended to Tuesday, April 15 at 5:00 p.m.
