Time: 10:00 am — 3:00 pm
Cost: FREE! (Lunch provided courtesy of VA Relay Outreach Services)

Agenda:
Morning Session: “Haptics” Workshop by Ann 011iff (VADB VP)

Afternoon Session:
1. Brief VADB Business Meeting
2. Status of a “Virginia SSP Program” by Elizabeth Spiers (DBVI DB Services Program Director)
3. Update on the “iCanConnect- The National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program” by Clayton Bowen (VDDHH)
4. Social Time (including a fun game to get everyone interacting)

We will have an auction of donated baked goods.

Please let us know if you plan to attend the meeting, if you can donate a baked good for auction, and if you need interpreters and/or a Support Service Provider by September 15 2014.

Volunteers (SSPs, lunch helpers, etc.) are needed. Also contact us if you would like more information.

Please join representatives from the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI), Virginia Association of the DeafBlind (VADB), and the Northern Virginia Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons (NVRC) as we discuss the need for Support Service Providers (SSPs) for DeafBlind Virginians.

We want to hear from YOU! Learn how Support Services Providers can help and why DeafBlind individuals need them.
