May 2012 tidbits!

The Happy Hands group will have Election and Hawaiian Luau Lunch on May 2 at 10:00AM. At 1:00PM, we will have a presentation on “Using Interpreters in Medical Settings” by Kalen Beck
The Cascades Deaf Seniors group will have a special celebration in honor of Mary Malzkhun getting her honorary degree from Gallaudet at Cascades Senior Center in Sterling, VA on May 9 at 11:00AM. A Buffet Lunch is planned to welcome Mary’s family.
Deadline to submit articles for the June 2012 newsletter is May 18. If you have not paid dues for 2012, please do ASAP. The membership form is available here.
