Bonnie O’Leary finished the spring schedule with “I Can’t Hear You!” at Paul Spring Retirement Community, and hearing loss awareness trainings at Chimes, Fairfax County Detoxification Center, and Home Instead.  Support groups were held at Greenspring Retirement Community.Free programs coming up!  Please call to register if you wish to attend:

“I Can’t Hear You! – Live and Laugh with Hearing Loss” 3-part program was presented at 3 locations this fall:

  1. Kingstown Center for Active Adults,
  2. Tall Oaks Assisted Living,
  3. James Lee Community Center,

Bonnie attended the Fairfax County Citizen Corps Council meeting on July 28.  If you have any concerns about communication issues in an emergency, please let her know for future meetings.

National Association of Retirement Counselors (NARC) held its September meeting at NVRC on Wednesday, September 14.
