HLAA-DC is pleased to announce a program in which Dr. Carrie Nieman will discuss a program developed and pilot-tested in Baltimore that provides accessible and affordable hearing care. This program could be an important development, especially for low-income and vulnerable older adults for whom the cost of traditional hearing care is a major barrier.

Dr. Nieman is a resident in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and founding Executive Director of Access HEARS, a social enterprise committed to making hearing care accessible and affordable.

Date and Time: Sunday, January 29 at 2:00pm
Place: DC Public Library at Tenleytown (large meeting room), 4450 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016 (less than a block from the Tenleytown Station on Metro’s Red Line).
