An emotional Justin Osmond entered St. George’s Confluence Park Saturday morning with Mayor Jon Pike and a small group of well-wishers on his heels as he capped a week-long run from his Ephraim home to raise awareness and money for the hard of hearing.

Osmond, the son of founding Osmond Brothers member Merrill and a severely hearing-impaired adult, wept as he passed under Interstate 15 and embraced his aunt Marie, who arrived from Las Vegas for the final yards of the trail.

At the finish line, as media and crowds who had participated in a “Super Hear-O 5K Fun Run” gathered around, he held his wife Kristi in a long embrace while trying to compose his emotions.
