Northern Virginia Association of the Deaf (NVAD) – Tour at the Arlington House.

Saturday, May 3, 2014 (Rain or Shine) 9:00AM ~ 4:00PM

The Tour begins at the Arlington National Cemetery Visitor Center at approximate 10:30AM; first stop will be at the John F. Kennedy gravesite, second at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Changing of the Guard) and third at Arlington House known as Robert E. Lee Memorial where our own Deaf Park Ranger Laura Bray will interpret.

Individual rate: $9.00 and Senior Citizen rate: $8.00. The limit for the tour is 20 people. Check payable to Gary Viall and Memo: Arlington House. The mailing address is 7004 Kenfig Dr., Falls Church, VA 22042.

NOTE: Wheelchair users limited to the main floor only. Reading scripts will be provided for JFK gravesite and the Tomb. Bring your own lunch for picnic tables outside of Arlington House at noon.

Meet at the Pentagon parking (free) next to the Pentagon Memorial, go to the Pentagon Metro, get off at the Arlington National Cemetery Visitor Center. For wheelchair users, park at the Arlington National Cemetery parking lot with parking fee.

We may meet at the nearby restaurant (TBA) for dinner and fun.
