Virginia Association of the Deaf to hold 58th Biennial Conference
in Fairfax, Virginia, June 21-22, 2013

The Virginia Association of the Deaf (VAD) will hold its 58th Biennial Conference at the Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax, Virginia, June 21-22, 2013.  The Conference theme is a rephrase of John F. Kennedy’s famous words, “Ask not what VAD can do for you – Ask what you can do for VAD.”  The Conference will include the annual membership meeting, exhibits, and workshops, and at least 150 people are expected to attend.  This event will enable state association members, friends, parents, and professionals to unite and help plan VAD’s course for the next several years.  The Northern Virginia Association of the Deaf (NVAD), one of VAD’s five Chapters, is the host Chapter of the Conference.
