Teachers Sought for Deaf/Hard of Hearing ESL Program

Harriet Fulbright College is seeking qualified and experienced ESL teachers for our deaf and hard of hearing students. The classes are highly interactive and intensive, from 18-20 hours per week, and a 1:1 or 1:2 teacher-student ratio. Teachers should have experience in teaching oral communication to hard of hearing students. Teachers with a background in linguistics, phonology, or speech pathology are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualified teachers will have:
– Minimum BA
– ESL certification (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, etc.)
– Experience teaching ESL to students who are deaf and hard of hearing
– ASL proficiency a plus
Salary is $30 per hour.
