The Clerc Center has validated the research synthesis for the ASL Content Standards K – 12, and the next phase of work is beginning. The first draft of the standards and benchmarks is expected in late spring.
Dr. Christen Szymanski, a recognized leader and researcher in the field of autism and hearing loss, will answer questions about her Odyssey article: Sharing Autism Research for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children in a new webinar this April.
Three Clerc Center webinars are now available for viewing at your convenience. Shared Power: Practical Solutions for Power Struggles with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children and parts one and two of ASL/English Bimodal Bilingual Education.
