Video Demonstration of a Hearing Loop in the New York City Subway

Here’s a terrific tool to educate others about the value of hearing loops! Richard Einhorn made a live recording of the he heard when he asked for directions at the subway booth at 66th Street Lincoln Center. It was made into a video by Steve Lewis.

Thanks to Janet Schacter for alerting us to it.

I have a feeling many people with hearing loss who see this video will report that it’s similar to what they experience in our area Metro stations.

The loop system in NVRC’s meeting room continues to astonish individuals who had no idea that conversations could be so clear. If you’d like to find out for yourself, give us a call or send an email to set up a time to come by.

It’s time to get our world looped!
